Who killed Dingledick? Chapter 4

Chapter 4




  I opened the diary and started reading  :



      12th December, 

    I went to my brother's house to celebrate, his wife 'MiraBella'  is pregnant. That's good news. I strolled down to Marley's to grab a beer, I want to fight the urge to drink but I can't. It makes me happy. 




     13th December, 

       Today.... I can't remember what happened  today 




     14th December, 

      Drunk.




15th December, 


   A guy called today, said his name is James and that he was employed by my parents to find me, a detective . I don't believe him, my brother and I grew up in an orphanage so I don't know this scammer .


    15th December, 


     Drunk 



16th December, 


Blank.



Who is Rose? I needed answers desperately but I was tired as fuck.

    I closed it and took it back to my room .   As I walked into my room I looked at the clock : 4am.  I fell on my bed and felt sleepy immediately. The last thought on my mind before sleeping was that I would start interrogating people tomorrow.

     My stupid alarm woke me up, but I was too tired to switch it off. I could feel my head aching.  Immediately I rose my arm to turn it off, my neighbour's alarm set off.

   "Turn it off, Asshole!! " I groaned as I buried my face in my pillow.
I guess he heard me because he turned it off, he is a student, a gentle guy but personally I think he is too nice, he should man up.



     Lucifer ran into my room barking happily, I followed him to the living room and made coffee, I love it black and strong. As I sipped the coffee I slowly recalled everything that happened earlier today so I grabbed my notepad and took notes




       Who is Rose 
     The rug 
The bloody doorknob 
Who is James. 



     I took my bath and took care of Lucifer,the day was so bright, the one thing I love about Lagos State in Nigeria is the heat,  New York was so damn cold for me. I walked towards my table and picked up the diary ,


   

     17th December, 

Today I finally slept with Rose, she is so hot. 
I plan to keep her. 


So Dingledick had sex!!  I threw my head back and laughed out loud ,this is gonna be interesting.


 
  18th December, 

Drink  ..cant remember much,
I think I pissed near my grumpy neighbour 's window again. 


  19th December,

   The pages were blank till 3rd January.



     3rd January, 


    He called again, said he wants to meet us ,my brother hates his guts, so he won't go. I just want peace. 

4th January, 

I went to see them, they seem friendly.
 I think they are nice people. 

5th January, 

He called again. 


The guy was just writing in phrases, who is he. I skipped  to the present date ' 30th January, 2018.



30th January, 


Mr red eyes called again said he wants to see me, I didn't tell my brother because they hate each other. 
I asked him to come over, 
I just want to patch things up with him and go and see Rose by midnight, I hope she isn't cheating on me. 


    So he had an appointment with someone today or two people. Who is this Mr red eyes. Who is Rose?. Could it be that Rose was cheating on him with Mr red eyes and they decided to act a telenovella, Maybe Dingledick threatened Mr red eye,so he came here to kill him and take the girl..... could it be?


      My instincts were just screaming  "No!! "    I closed the diary. Time for interrogation.
